He has a rich mix of analytic expertise, communications dexterity, & service orientation; with a solitary focus on healthcare, serving major US health plans, providers, and software suppliers. Mr. Perretta holds a BSEE from Princeton University, and an MBA from Amos Tuck Business School (Dartmouth College).
Mr. Schuster has over 23 years of senior executive experience in the healthcare and financial services sectors, including twelve years as Chief Technology Officer at a Fortune 100 managed care organization, during which time the company grew from $1 Billion to $40 Billion in annual revenues.
He is recognized in the health plan industry for his innovative application of emerging technologies such as Big Data, mobile platforms, and predictive analytics to all aspects of care coordination, patient engagement, quality outcomes, and cost effectiveness.
Mr. Schuster holds a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from Illinois University, and an MBA from Washington University's Olin Business School.
Serving as the Director of Operations for the US Department of Defense's Military & Family Life Counseling (MFLC) program since 2008, Dr. McBride currently oversees 119 military installations and over 800 assignments supporting service branches worldwide. Military and Family Life Counselors provide much needed adult and child and youth non-medical counseling support to active duty service members and their families in a variety of settings.
McBride has over 25 years of senior level management experience in Mental Health administration as well as direct clinical experience with Critical Incident Stress debriefing. She brings invaluable behavioral health perspective to inform Docket™ design considerations.
McBride received her BA from Stanford University and her MS and Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. Dr. McBride maintains licensure as a clinical psychologist in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Mr. Biagioni has over 25 years of experience in the field of healthcare information systems and technology, 6 years at the Chief Information Officer level, 2 years as president of e-Health Internet technology development organizations, 10 years as CEO of a healthcare technology consulting organization, and 5 years managing in "Big 5" and national healthcare consulting practices.
Peter's areas of expertise include: eHealth strategy development and deployment; operations; sales and business development; organizational engineering; IT systems selection, planning and architecture; vendor contract negotiation; budget creation and management; customer management; and investor relations.
Dr. Christopher Schaich is an epidemiologist with integrative research interests in cognitive function, autonomic neuroscience, and population cardiology. Dr. Schaich received his PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology from Wake Forest University in 2014, and since then has worked as a laboratory research scientist, emergency medicine research associate, and mental health crisis clinician before returning to WFU to join the faculty of the School of Medicine.
Dr. Schaich has a special interest in implementing novel technologies in the clinic setting to improve health care and outreach efforts to help underserved populations with undue disease burden. Dr. Schaich is excited to bring his expertise and passion for this endeavor to the Docket Board of Advisors.
Ananth is a senior healthcare executive with a passion and proven track record of developing, rapidly accelerating, and optimizing performance of disruptive healthcare models.
As Corporate Vice President of Business Development at Centene, he orchestrated and executed provider partnerships and Joint Ventures. A few of his key accomplishments include developing and implementing a Joint Venture with Ascension Health, a multi-billion, multi-state Payor-Provider Medicare Advantage venture. He also created an innovative state-wide integrated behavioral health IPA in Illinois. In the state of Arkansas, he developed a Joint Venture with Mercy Health to serve IDD/Behavioral Health populations. In addition, he also developed several MSO arrangements with health plans and provider-based entities. Prior to assuming the business development role, he led Centene’s value-based purchasing strategy migrating 55% of its medical spend into value-based programs, and developed organizational, IT and analytics infrastructure to administer them. Under his leadership there was significant improvement in performance of these programs.
Prior to joining Centene Ananth was a consultant at McKinsey& Company focused on serving payor and provider clients. During his time at McKinsey he led multiple strategy and large-scale transformation programs. Prior to McKinsey, Ananth worked for Infosys technologies, where he helped Aetna automate their claims platform and optimize their claim and call center operations.
Ananth holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology.
Alan Merchant has over 30 years’ leadership experience in the health care industry, with a focus on architecting, building and implementing software solutions supporting new and innovative self-directed health plan models, including Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Health Incentive Accounts (HIA), and other forms of Consumer Driven Healthcare.
Mr. Merchant’s latest venture, Acero Health, designed and developed the industry’s leading system to support the complex cost sharing reporting needs of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), enabling several national health insurance companies to serve key segments of the individual health insurance market. Mr. Merchant is a recognized leader in the ongoing development of software powering health administrative functions from patient engagement, to care delivery to claims payment and associated reporting, and of the integration of health administrative systems such as pharmacy and medical benefit systems. Alan’s "consumer directed" approach to health software aligns completely with the Docket.care.
